Timber Haven Chalet is a private secluded getaway for family and friends located 4 miles from downtown Lake Placid. Recent renovations of the entire home have made this a wonderful vacation spot. Double slider doors open up to the rustic large deck which boasts a fantastic view of Whiteface Mountain in winter, table with fire feature and a Weber gas grill. Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. My wife and I reside in the back portion of the house with a separate entrance and separate parking.

The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.
