Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Our beautifully converted barn is ideally located in the picturesque village of Ruston. Set within a stunning Grade II listed farmstead, just 50 metres from the edge of the North York Moors National Park & with easy access of coastal walks, beaches & market towns including Whitby, Pickering, Filey, Cayton & Malton. The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

The Boiling House, Beckside

Boiling House is a truly unique, beck side property located in Staithes. The original building has been an integral part of village fishing heritage for many years. Where the log burner now sits, the original boiling tanks sat, a real piece of history. It benefits from double height ceilings, to create a real feeling of space, and is split level with only three steps between floors. As the only property in the village with french doors opening onto the beck side, it really is a place to savour.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

The bungalow is private, detached, not overlooked & is spacious, bright with stunning views from every window. From the front you can see Whitby Abbey and harbour, from the side there’s a lovely view of All Saints church approx 20 metres away & from the rear there are uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside. The gardens extend to around a third of an acre and are secure.

Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.
