The Old Masham Library - Grade 2 listed

The Grade 2 listed Old Library, Masham sits on the corner of the principle approach in to the Market Square from Swinton. Built in 1856 it originally served as the Mechanic Institute of then Mashamshire. It was designed by the respected William Perkin of Perkin and Backhouse of Leeds in Victorian Italianate style. In 2017-18 its internal was redesigned and fully refurbished by Langton Holdings Ltd. On the side of the building is 7kw EV charging by podpoint so be sure to download the app!

This newly refurbished, self contained second floor apartment is in the centre of York. 2 minutes walk from Cliffords Tower and Castle Car Park and very close to the high street. There are two double bedrooms each with its own en-suite toilet. There an L-shaped bath with shower attachment in Bedroom 1, and a full shower in Bedroom 2. The kitchen diner includes a Nespresso machine, kettle, microwave, oven, electric hob, toaster and fridge freezer.

The Lake District is within a hours drive. Free safe parking directly outside the cottage with field views surrounding the property, greeting you with peace and tranquility.

Situated only minutes from the walled city, the studio is a small mews house which I built at the end of my garden in 2012. It lies on a quiet backstreet and feels peaceful and secluded. Inside is a spacious sun-filled loft-style living space upstairs with a shower room downstairs, the Studio provides comfortable accommodation for up to three people.
