Dargaville Cottage Accommodation

Very spacious 2 bedroom cottage solely for guests use (opened Jan 2023) Open plan lounge, dining, kitchenette area Jug, toaster, microwave, toasted sandwich machine, electric frypan, fridge/freezer, air fryer, rice cooker. Bedding includes 2 x queen size beds ,2 x king single beds plus a rollaway bed.. Dargaville township 10-15 min walk. Suitable single, couples, family, business guests. next to a dairy 7 days and takeaways 5 days. Kai Iwi Lakes 20mins drive approx. Stay 1 night or longer.

Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.

Plenty of parking & room for the boat. BBQ available. Walking distance to the local shops, wharf, fishing club & café. Just a 50 minute drive to Cape Reinga & 10 mins out to the famous 90 Mile Beach. Houhora is surrounded by lots of fabulous NZ beaches.

Kanuka Loft - Come and relax

This is the perfect private holiday retreat. Set amongst the bush clad slopes of the Te Wahapu Peninsula, with no close neighbors, adjacent to an expansive bush reserve with abundant bird life and only 7 km from the historic Russell Township. Kanuka Loft is a very quiet, peaceful space. A great place to come and do nothing, yet with all the Bay of Islands has to offer at hand.
