Cozy One Room Schoolhouse on the Prairie

This schoolhouse is the smallest one of two on the property. Country living extends to the outdoors on the private patio. Wrap yourself up in one of our vintage handmade quilts, breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy unobstructed views of neighbouring fields. Saskatchewan is touted as the “Land of Living Skies’, and there’s no better place to see the most amazing sunsets, stars and Northern Lights. Enjoy soaking in your private hot tub while star gazing or looking out over a vast valley.

Private Romantic Retreat in our Cozy Rustic Cabin

Our private cozy rustic cabin nestled among massive spruce and pine trees is the perfect couples’ romantic getaway. Uniquely designed for the couple looking to sit back, retreat from the outside world, and rekindle that special connection between you and nature. Located 10 minutes north of Cremona just off the famous Cowboy Trail. Hike along the trails that wind through the woods surrounding the cabin or leave the farm to head west to photograph the world famous Alberta Wild Horses.

Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

Half Moon Guest House

The Half Moon Guest House is quiet & peaceful, unique accommodation, comfortable atmosphere and friendly hospitality. It's only a few minutes to Wells Gray Park and 4 km from town. The guest house is on the same property as the owner's house. On our little mini ranch we have 5 horses, 2 friendly pup's and one cute little kitten. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, etc. We also provide coffee/tea. Our Guests can use the fire pit and barbecue and relax on the patio.

PETE’S PLACE

Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (5 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2024) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

A quaint, private, hand made cabin in the woods overlooking a creek and buffalo pastures surrounded by majestic views of the Canadian Rockies. It has a very clean attached toilet. Modernized in 2020 with full bathroom and kitchenette, it’s a vast change from when my Grandfather built it for shelter from the harsh prairie winters. The logs were harvested over 100 years ago in the Saddlehills and brought to this working family grain farm. Now it’s all play & relax!
