Niharika, The Old Place

Orchid Suite A 2BHK Himalayan Getaway

About this space The Orchid Suite is a 2 bedroom self serviced apartment situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The space offers some spectacular views of the Himalayas. The popular Za Khang Bhutanese Restaurant is in the same building and offers the only Bhutanese Cuisine in town. The property is located just off the highway and is 1 km away from Kalimpong town. We are walking distance from most of the local hotspots. The Bus-stop and Taxi Stand is a 10 minutes walk from the space.

Noella's Pad

My place is close to The Mall- about a two minute walk. It is located in the same building as Glenary's (owned by my family). It is right in the heart of the town centre where the action is. There is a kitchen, in case you want a quiet night and make your own dinner; or you could just walk upstairs to Glenary's and treat yourself in the cafe or restaurant. It is compact and cosy - good for couples and solo adventurers. It’s been recently renovated with a brand new bathroom and shower.

Panorama. A Heritage Bungalow

‘Panorama’ where the last King of Burma’s second daughter spent an idyllic life in exile from 1947 onwards. She lived here with her husband till April 4, 1956. It is a beautiful property with a 180 degree view of the Himalayan range during the months when there is no haze. One can also see the western part of Kalimpong town. It's an almost 100 years old bungalow built during the British Raj. It is well maintained with polished floorboards and red oxide floors and fire places.
