The Blue Cottage provides a spacious, private, fully self-contained and well-equipped spot for a Waiheke getaway. Close to shops and beaches, restaurants and wineries. Fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher for those who wish to eat-in, and a gas grill on the patio. Recently installed solar with battery ensures the cottage not only generates surplus power for the grid, but also maens power outages (v rare) are catered for. We have an extensive garden and you are welcome to ask for a tour.

Perfect for couples. It's a good climb up from the road but the views make it worthwhile. It’s a 10 minute walk down to Rocky Bay beach and Whakanewha forest reserve is right on the doorstep. Buses go to Rocky Bay but a car is recommended for further island excursions
