Beachside B & B

The guest suite occupies the downstairs portion of our house. It is self contained with a private entrance from a deck leading to the garden. It has a large master bedroom, a lounge with kitchenette & separate bathroom. The bathroom is bright, light & has modern fittings with shower, WC & vanity. The lounge includes a sofa bed, window seat, dining area & kitchenette, with facilities to self cater if required. There is a garden gate which gives access to the nature reserve, river and beach.

Fully equipped with four spacious bedrooms on a quarter acre section, there's plenty of room to spread out and relax. A house for all seasons, enjoy leisurely beach walks, sun, surf and sand in the Summer, or cosy up by the fire in Winter and take in the snow on the beautiful Tararuas.

Mount Welcome Shearers Cottage

This is a romantic little cottage with a lovely ensuite and kitchenette. Enjoy a comfy Queen sized bed and cotton linens. The cottage has its own garden next to the homestead. Just moments from the l Escarpment track and the train station making it very easy to get into Wellington cbd (35mins). Our neighbours are developing the land so we are expecting noise this coming summer during the daytime but its sporadic, hence the lower than usual rates. If your dates are unavailable please ask.

Te One - Boutique Beachfront Accommodation

Absolute beach-front in Paekakariki, a Kapiti coast village 40km from Wellington City. Five minutes walk to beach and Queen Elizabeth Park, a wonderful forest and dune environment great for walks, biking, picnics. Lively village centre 1.5 kms away, with a well stocked local shop, a fruit and veg shop, 3 cafes and a family friendly pub, railway station, regular music gigs and starting point for the famous Escarpment walk. It is an easy train or drive to Wellington.

Our self-contained suite is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We provide a comfy bed and optional cooked breakfast. As well as full cooking facilities. Time it right and you can help yourself to seasonal produce from the garden and free range eggs from our lovely chooks.
