Upper Mountain Cottage is a semi-detached portion of mountain house in a hectare of mature garden and fynbos. Its natural materials such as sundried earth walls, timber from onsite, and green roof respond to the nearby mountains. Natural swimmable ponds, provide an oasis for birds and wildlife. The living and kitchen spaces open onto stoeps with a choice of sunshine or shade, garden or sea views. Guests have seasonal access to the swimmable reservoir ponds and year long access to the gardens .

Shark Cove Home has 2 bedrooms.The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the other room has 2 three quarter beds.The bathroom has a bath, shower and toilet. Living area has a double sofa bed on which 2 kids can sleep or 1 adult. PLEASE NOTE: The cottage is on one level, but an outdoor staircase with 14 steps will lead you from the parking area to the cottage (see photos).

There are three bathrooms - main bedroom en suite, second and third bedroom share a bathroom, and fourth bedroom is en suite. There is a half bath on the ground floor. The lounge has a sea view. The apartment also includes a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi and free parking.

This is a beautiful spot to spend longer terms stays, although shorter stays are also welcome. The flat is fully equipped with 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom and a full kitchen. We’ve recently put a big fridge in for those who enjoy having fresh foods on hand. The space also has a small lounge with TV and Netflix as well as a dining area in the kitchen. Outside guests can enjoy the deck for a drink or some sun. Safe parking inside the property.
