Located in the heart of Gokulam, Mysuru, this three bedroom independent house was our family home before we shifted to our organic farm. The large common spaces, the warmth of the Athangudi tiles and the proximity of restaurants, commerce, yoga centers and services make it an ideal space for large families or groups of friends / colleagues. Banni Home, gracefully sits along the banks of the River Cauvery, is named after sacred Banni tree present in the heart of the property. In the local language Kannada, the word "Banni" means "Welcome," symbolizing the warmth and hospitality you’ll experience at this eco-minimalist stay. Banni home is thoughtfully built with natural, locally sourced materials, Cob walls of mud and lime, mud plastering, and natural paints showcase the skills of local artisans while honoring ancient techniques.
