Forest Cottage

Welcome to our stone cottage built in the 1700's with modern amenities including our spacious hot tub. Situated in the heart of the peak district, close by to Castleton, Edale, Buxton, & Tideswell. The cottage is situated in Peak forest, within close proximity to the village pub, less than half a mile. The cottage has 2 double rooms, 1 bathroom, at downstairs toilet, a dining room & a living room equipped with a log burner. Both bedrooms & living rooms have TV's hooked up with available apps.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Castleton Stunning Peak Cavern Gorge Location

Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.
