La cabaña Arriero está en La Loma de Thoreau, Quintas del Bosque, a 940 metros sobre el nivel del mar y en el corazón de la Cordillera Central dominicana. Se la dedicamos a Henry David Thoreau (1817- 1862), porque él y sus escritos son quien más nos han inspirado a llevar el estilo de vida que elegimos.
