No worries about whether the TV will wake your host; no sounds of snoring will come through the walls; no need to tippy toe around to keep from bothering light sleepers and there will be no wake-up blast of somebody else's alarm clock! Just sweet, sweet privacy. Lighted parking a few steps from the door makes for safe and easy access, and a four number key code allows for arrival at any hour without concern of disturbing your hosts. Enjoy as much tea and coffee as you need to stay comfortably caffeinated. If you're lacking something important like a specialty kitchen gadget, personal item or office supply, let me know I'm happy to help! The garage of the Guesthouse cottage serves as my artist (painting) studio, so I am generally working on the premises if you need me. Go for a hike in the surrounding nature, check out some of the breathtaking galleries, and catch a live sporting event or show in the evening. We offer an elegant, cozy, private guest room with private ensuite bathroom, it's own private entrance and private arbored deck. The carrera marble bath tiles are heated for winters, and the deck and garden have seating areas for summer. Like a little hotel room, this queen-bed suite is ideal for 1 or 2 who would like an entirely separate space, but don't need a full kitchen. The room features microwave, mini-fridge, teakettle & basic flatware - ideal for simple breakfasts or reheated leftovers.

Located in the friendly, walkable neighborhood of Kenton, this ADU is a five minute drive off of I-5, a 5-10 walk to the nearest bus lines and MAX station, and a block-and-a-half away from the central Denver St. commercial zone of Kenton with access to restaurants (Vietnamese, Thai, Mexican, soul food, pizza, pub food), coffee shops, library, and convenience store. Fred Meyer and New Seasons grocery stores are close by. The ADU has a double bed, memory foam mattress, and a white noise machine.

Our 90-year old colonial home is in the heart of Washington Park, walking distance to downtown & northwest Portland. We are just a block from the International Rose Test Gardens, Portland's number one tourist attraction. All of the park and hiking trails are easily accessible, and we are also very close to excellent restaurants and shopping. The bright, newly constructed garden suite features many thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable. It's the perfect base for exploring Portland.

The Overlook neighborhood is one of Portland's hidden gems. Quiet, tree lined, yet only a few minutes from all the action Portland serves up. Walk or ride to meals, brewpubs or shopping in the Mississippi and Williams districts. Hop a train (three blocks away) to all quarters. Or, to unwind, walk to Overlook or Mocks Crest parks for sweeping views of downtown Portland, Forest Park and the Willamette River.
