Number 4, Loch Shiel View, Glenfinnan sleeps 4

Number 4 is a 2 bedroom end of terrace cottage nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel in the historic village of Glenfinnan, 17 miles west of Fort William along the breath-taking Road to the Isles. The view from the front is spectacular and the rear view is not bad either! Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans, Loch Shiel is the location of the 'Black Lake' and the Glenfinnan Viaduct-Harry Potter Bridge, and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are within walking distance.

Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

Recently refurbished, it is a spacious apartment, situated on the shores of Loch Duich with spectacular views of the loch and The Five sisters of Kintail. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Being born and brought up in the area we hope our local knowledge will allow you make the most of your trip.

Tigh A'Mhuillin (The Mill House) is a lovely detached home close to picturesque coastal villages (5 miles from Shieldaig and 17 miles from Applecross), with shops and pubs. Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.
