Porirua station is a 45 minute walk, 8 minute drive away, with regular 20 minute train rides into Wellington. Enjoy brunch at T Bay Cafe, coffee at Aloha Friday (fresh bread sold during the weekend), a night at the Beer Engine (local brewery), or fish and chips on the beach.

A two minute drive to/fromTransmission gully, this gem of a flat has everything you need for a short or long stay. Fully self contained, with a seperate entrance to our family home (which is attached). We have a few Kayaks that can be borrowed if you have roof racks, excellent for paddling round the Pauatahanui Inlet. Whitby shops are a short drive away (there is also a bus route, 236, that goes past our house), Kapiti train line less than 10 mins and the inlet is less than five mins away.
