High Mountain Stone Cottage in the Cederberg

Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. Pret a Porter at Howzit Growing nursery. Set in tranquil garden surrounds Pret a Porter is a cosy private 1 bed garden unit - ideal for a relaxed and comfortable stay. It offers a private entrance for convenience and privacy. Guests are invited to enjoy access to a shared pool and bbq area. Centrally located, in easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. The pool is unfenced so not suitable for young children. Free overnight parking from 6pm to 8am. A friendly dog lives on the property.

Our goal is to have you as close to nature as possible, while having luxury to enjoy the experience. We offer a 2 bedroom container cabin and one large bathroom overlooking fynbos nature. The lounge area connected to a small kitchen extends over a deck that's equipped with a covered braai and dinning area. The main deck extend to the woodfire hot-tub and a deck-hammock to make sure you engage with the stars. A high profile / high clearance vehicle is required - (SUV / Crossover / Bakkie).

You can wonder around the farm or visit many interesting places in town, or hike up 22 Waterfalls or Groot Winterhoek Reserve

Fever Tree Cottage is a secluded one bedroom garden cottage on a private property in Riebeeck Kasteel, a mere 50 meters from the town centre. The main property is on a dirt road, overlooks a farm dam and magnificent mountain views. The cottage is private, quiet and set in a lovely tranquil bird-filled garden. It is so close to town, that you can walk anywhere. Retreat to the quiet garden cottage after a day of shopping, eating and exploring.
