And rather than being a dreaded experience, the attached bathroom with epic views is one of the best features!

We are within a 10 minute drive to most attractions, the Magnificent Redwoods, the Pacific Coast and the Mighty Klamath River. Note: Winter can bring high winds, flooding and power outages.

Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

You'll be just steps from a crystal clear private swimming hole in year-round Jones Creek. Drive 2 miles to picturesque swimming holes on the wild and scenic Smith River. There is a second vacation rental on the first floor reserved by one or two persons.
