During WINTER: must have AWD or FWD, experience driving in serious winter weather (snow, severe wind, extreme cold); the cabin is located on gravel roads & dirt driveway. And like many of the plants of this arid landscape, our garden and the apartment itself emphasizes efficiency and minimalism with a dash of whimsy and charm. The apartment is located in the original footprint of my house which was built in 1905. I live in the newer addition adjacent to the apartment. One wall separates the old from the new. Outside in the yard guests will find years of gardening experiments...not all fruitful.
