Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! Relax in the deep soaking tub, perfect for after a long hike in the high peaks district. If privacy, comfort and tranquility are what you are after, the Cabin is the right place for you.

Nestled between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, this cozy 2-bedroom cabin (King + Queen) is the perfect base for your Adirondack getaway. The spacious, fully fenced backyard features a fire pit, lounge area, and BBQ—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Dog-friendly with two large doggy doors and a $75 pet cleaning fee (for up to two dogs). Plenty of parking, including space for trailers. Located on a main road, so you may hear some traffic.

Cabin located across from Macomb State Park providing access to cross country skiing. 30 minute drive to Whiteface Mt. Ski Area. Sleeps 4 with 2 twins and a double in upstairs loft. Fully furnished kitchen, bath with shower. Quiet space. No smoking indoors. No cats. Dogs allowed but must be well behaved and stay off of the furniture and bedding. Check-in @ 3 PM and beyond. Checkout at 11 AM.
