Welcome to Manor Cottage Barn. Situated in the quiet village of Averham just outside of Newark Upon Trent in rural Nottinghamshire. The barn itself is an 18th century chapel and barn combined and was fully restored in the 90's. Inside there are two large rooms, one comprising of a lounge area for guests and a private workshop area dedicated to picture framing. The other is a Bedroom, kitchen and dining room with a separate Bathroom. *This is a no smoking anywhere including outside home.

As grandparents to a number of young children, we have toys and games for your use. 1 cot and 2 cotbeds are available by prior arrangement for young families and will easily fit as extras in the bedrooms. Sorry no pets / no smoking inside the property!

'Holly Berry' is a cosy holiday hideaway in the picturesque Nottinghamshire village of Wellow. Please note that Holly Berry is only bookable for a maximum of two adults. It is equipped with kitchenette (larder fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster but no oven or hob), shower/washroom, small sofa, mezzanine level with double mattress, wood burning stove, television and private outdoor seating area with bike lock-up. Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
