This quirky, iconic property sits on a hill overlooking the upper Hokianga Harbour in Rawene - Far North and is a great place to base yourself to explore the wild and untouched Hokianga. Opononi is less than 15 mins drive great swimming, stunning walks & fishing. You can also take a boat to the famous Opononi sand dunes where you can go sand boarding. Tane Mahuta and the Waipoua Forest 40 mins away.

Hidden inside native bush is our glamping hut named 'the syrah shack', which is nestled behind our syrah vines. The location is 10 minutes out of Russell township, in the Bay of Islands. You will have a vineyard, cellar door and eatery 1km from the hut. Escape your worries and get off the grid in our eco retreat. Enjoy the luxury of a super king bed and the serenity of an outdoor camping style kitchen, hot shower, composting toilet and the best bit is an outdoor bath for two!!

Located in the heart of Kohukohu village across the road from beautiful Hokianga Harbour, the historic Old Fell Boat Shed provides accommodation for up to six guests. It's the ideal timeout spot to write, paint, kayak (two on-site), fish or just relax. Cafe's, art gallery, pub and general store are a level two-minute walk.
