Relax in the Western Maine Foothills at our cabin on Jewett Pond. The main cabin has 672 sq ft of finished living space with bedroom (queen bed), bathroom, basic kitchen, great room (queen sleeper sofa), and screened porch. There is an additional rustic bunkhouse with two twin beds. This space is ideal for a couple or adventurous family who enjoys swimming, canoeing, hiking, fishing, or sitting on the screened porch with a good book and pine forest backdrop. Kayak or canoe out to Turtle Cove and enjoy the wildlife in this natural waterway teeming with birds to include our resident Blue Heron, ducks, geese, and loons who make this place their home. We have the fortune of bald eagles in several tall pines. Turtles sunning on doting rocks and lily pads in bloom greet us each day. It is a natural water landscape.

Cozy Cottage-Near Harbor & Park

Bailiwick Cottage is a cozy, private cottage that looks south down Freeport (Harraseeket) Harbor in Freeport, ME. It is a 4 season accommodation that is close to Freeport shopping, Portland eating, and the Adventure Schools of LL Bean. The cottage sits approximately 50 yards from our main house, has its own parking space and patio, and offers the ability to come and go as you wish. We have had 12 honeymoons in the cottage. Songo Lock Cabins #2 (Located at Historic Site)

2026 special: After booking your 5 or more nights, message me and I will add your free night. Cabins on the water, Songo Lock Cabins are located at the Historical Songo Locks. The cabins are over 100 years old and date back to the early 1900's. The cabins are on the water and have their own dock. The Songo Locks is hand operated and opens to allow boats into the lock, the water lowers the boats down and then opens so they can continue down river into Sebago Lake.
