The Cottage is downtown Hafnarfjörður, close to the harbour, a walking distance from Restaurants, Coffee shops, Tourist info, cute little shops, supermarket and a central bus stop. Taking a SAUNA after a long day is a real treat and the "outside" shower (with hot and cold water) is a great experience. The annex has a private entrance, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and basic cooking facilities (added in January 2026). You will also have exclusive use of the garden hot tub, a tranquil escape nestled among the birch and aspen trees. Please note that we have a very friendly dog who you may meet!

The environment is very beautiful and can be enjoyed in many hike trail around the surrounding area. In Only a half hour walk is up to a very beautiful waterfall called Helgufoss. There is also a lot of experiences that can be accessed here in the area such as horse riding, electric biking and hiking.
