Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

We represent excellent value for money and set our bar very high in what we want our guests to experience. The inside space consists of two large rooms (bedroom and separate living room/kitchen) plus WC and the outside space has the relaxing hot tub on the patio with beautiful views across the Welsh countryside

Our luxurious star-gazing glamping tents sit centrally within our alpaca paddocks, giving guests a unique chance to stay surrounded by our friendly resident alpacas and free-roaming chickens. Clear roof panels allow you to fall asleep watching the night sky, while panoramic mountain views create a stunning backdrop. Each tent sleeps two adults or a family with two children. Abergele is just over 2miles away and offers all amenities. Please be aware WiFi can be slow here. No drones.

Tan-yr-Ogo Lodge is a castle conceived as one of a series of lodges to serve Gwrych Castle and was originally the principal and ceremonial entrance to the estate. Tan-yr-Ogo or more correctly, Tan yr Ogof, translates to 'beneath the cave', and is nestled below Lady Emily's Tower and the great cave of Cefn Yr Ogof, all part of the Gwrych Castle Estate.
