We will start the workshop with a warm welcome in my home, a coffee or tea and we will get to know each other a little bit. I will also explain you all about leathercrafting and the steps we will take during the workshop. When we are ready to start, you will each be provided with a piece of leather and all tools necessary for making your specific leathercraft. Together, we will work step by step, me checking every step to assure that it has been done perfectly and help resolve any issues that you may have throughout the process, making sure that you pay special attention to all the little yet important details necessary for creating a perfect piece. At the end of the workshop, I will be teaching you how to carve your name or initials on leather, so you could create your own personalized brands on your unique products! PLEASE NOTE: To make sure you will have a professional and finished product at the end of the workshop, you will go home with a product I created before, as shown in the pictures. In case you would like to create and take home your own product, please look at the other design workshops or write me a message for more information! Delft is beautiful all year round and we will explore it together this time. I will meet you where the city used to begin, at the old gate to walk you in through the cozy streets towards the market square, where on Saturday and Thursday you can also have a chance to try the best local food. If you are still full of energy to explore I will slowly walk you further through the center towards the Old Church with a hidden garden - the best places to take beautiful shots. On the way, you will also find exhibitions or sometimes festivals with live music, art, and food. You will also see beautiful architecture, shops, and galleries with local crafts. By this time if we get a little tired, you will have a chance to visit the most unique cafe in Delft, which is often missed by visitors. There you will try the best dessert and coffee (or lunch), see a new showcase of an unusual art piece and get portraits in the unique interior (or terrace outside!). After this tour, you will get beautiful pictures and a useful bonus, I will mark on the map the best places to visit, to stay, to go for breakfast/lunch/dinner according to your personal preferences, for you to enjoy! Other things to note The best way to prepare is to have a good mood and a desire to explore! But of course, in order to look the best on the pictures, you will need (optionally) to prepare some looks of clothes that you like or contact me in advance to discuss it more detail.

De bijeenkomst zal plaastvinden in mijn levendige zonnige atelier met een kopje thee terwijl we elkaar voorstellen. De therapiesessie begint met het uiten van inspiraties en impulsen op een CLAIREFONTAINE Naturel papierkarton, ecru 29x42 om 'minimalistische abstracte kunst' te creëren met behulp van verschillende technieken en materialen om structuur, kleur en abstractie te creëren. We zullen werken met kwalitatieve aardetintpaletten en ons meesterwerk een titel geven met behulp van onze verbeelding en onze verbale grenzen verkennen. Opmerking: U kunt mij schrijven om specifieke datums of groepslessen aan te vragen (kwaliteitstijd met collega's/ met vrienden, je partner of met familie)

Each gin tasting experience lasts about 45 minutes. My distillery is small and bijou, so its like walking into someones home.... but with a bar and a still! What I cover in the tasting is how I set up the distillery, how I make gin and then we will taste each of the four gins and I will make you a gin and tonic of your favourite one. I encourage you to be inquisitive, to be curious and ask questions. The tasting experiences are always run in small groups so we can take our time and explore. It also means that no two tastings are the same! Then of course, you will have the opportunity to buy a bottle or a gift for a gin lover! Other things to note Make sure that you wear comfortable shoes! We are a working distillery and you will be standing for the tasting experience! There is no food for sale so if you think you will need a snack, please bring your own Water, gin, tonic and garnishes are provided! We have bathrooms on site too!

HISTORY OF ROTTERDAM During this tour, my goal is to show you how Rotterdam’s unique history shaped the city. I will cover the history from roughly 1300 onward: from the birth and development of the city, to its destruction in 1940, and how Rotterdam rose from its ashes to become the intriguing city it is today. To enhance your understanding, I will bring along several (historic) maps and also touch upon Dutch history and culture in general. PRIVATE WALKING TOUR In 3 hours, we will traverse the city center by foot: from pre-war parts that survived the bombing, to reconstructed and newer areas. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a local or new to the city. This is a private tour, which allows me to cater exactly to your needs and prior knowledge of Rotterdam and the Netherlands.
