Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. View Street, Manapouri; turn south west on your travels through middle-earth! 300m from the Doubtful Sound jetty, our one-bedroom cottage overlooks Fiordland and the Waiau river and is complete with all the comforts, including a wood-burning fireplace for cosy New Zealand winter evenings. Perfect for couples- our cottage is not suitable for children.

Everything you need for a luxurious stay plus extras including push bikes, and an outdoor hot tub to sit in under the stars. Our two bedroom cottages are fully self contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Each cottage has two bedrooms, sleeping a total of 4 guests. Our guests recommend a two night stay minimum in this area. Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are renowned tourist destinations. Also walks in Fiordland National Park and a local bike trail. No cleaning fee.

Wild South Beach Cottage

We are located at the south coast of New Zealand, 10km's from Tuatapere. The Waiau river flows right behind the house, perfect for fishing or enjoying a walk on the beach. The Hump Ridge Track is a short drive away. Your house is cosy, warm and light and has lots of character. There's only a few houses down here, so a perfect place to relax!
