Located (5 miles) from Cave Run Lake, have a great night’s rest after a fun day on the Sheltowee Trace National Trail, Lockegee Rock, Amburgey Rock or at Dirt Nasty ATV Park (within 1-2 miles). We offer a full bed, full bath, kitchenette sink, coffee pot, towels, sheets, quilt and fire pit (starter wood included). Bring your lawn chairs and supplies for s'mores for a relaxing evening by the fire. Ample boat parking, if needed. Approximately five miles from town, ten miles to big box stores.

Welcome to Hardwood Hideaway! You will love the rustic setting just 3 miles from Leatherwood Boat Ramp. Welcome to our Lofty Musky cabin which offers a cozy, comfortable, and scenic environment. Front patio includes a hot tub while the back patio has outdoor seating and a grill. Main house will sleep 4 comfortably with a full kitchen and social living spaces located on the lower level and sleeping quarters are located upstairs. Great for that fishing enthusiast or family getaway to be near local trails, Cave Run Lake, and other outdoor activities in the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Setting back about 1/2 mile into our 375 acre farm is our Bowman Cabin. Kick back and relax in this beautiful open concept cabin on a small pond. It has many comforts of home such as electricity, heat/ac, running water. There is no wi-fi and cell phone signal varies however there is a tv w/antenna and a DVD/Blu-ray player. There is plenty of hiking . Laurel Gorge, Red River Gorge, Cave Run Lake and Grayson Lake are just a few attractions within short driving distance from us.

Creekside Cottage- Cave Run Lake- RRG

Relax in the romantic creekside cozy cottage nestled in the heart of Morehead, KY. Cave Run Lake is less than 3 miles away. Boat, ski, fish, kayak….the possibilities are endless. Listen to the sounds of the stream as you BBQ, stargaze from the hammock, or enjoy a fire in the provided fire pit. The Creekside Cottage is located at the top of the lake near restaurants, Eagle Trace Golf Course, and Morehead University. Explore nearby Red River Gorge or Carter Caves State Park.

Buckskin Run’s Rise and Shine

Welcome to Buckskin Run’s Rise and Shine! This cabin will give you a cozy place for you and your family/ friends to relax before you go explore a little bit of heaven in the hills of Ky. It is located minutes away from Cave Run Lake and Pop’s Southern Style BBQ. Red River Gorge, Daniel Boone National Forest, Carter Caves and Grayson Lake are all less than an hour away. There is no running water in this cabin. There is a bathhouse available to use.

Numerous cabins available here plus more at our sister property, Cave Run Lodge! This cabin has a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Kitchenette includes mini fridge, Keurig, microwave & sink! Full bathroom. Charcoal grills & fire pit available for use! Please bring your own charcoal.

The Cedar Shack

Enjoy Cave Run Lake or take a short drive (21ish miles) to Red River Gorge from our Tiny Cabin. Our Cedar Shack is a 12ft x 28ft with a 4ft porch, equipped with dual rocking chairs. The Cedar Shack is appropriately named as it is finished fully is cedar from floor to ceiling. Pets are welcome in most instances but they must be included in the guest list and there is a fee. No exceptions.

Morehead Cabin by the Lake

A relaxing space that can accommodate up to six people. This cabin is 3 min from Cave Run Lake and close to downtown Morehead and Morehead State University (15 min). Tucked up on a hillside surrounded by oak trees, enjoy the front porch and comfortable accommodations for the perfect, calming getaway. Great for work or play, this cabin has it all.
