Valleyside Annexe

Our annexe is a detached converted garage with living/kitchen area, a separate bedroom upstairs and a downstairs shower room. It has a private entrance with its own patio and outside dining space and beautiful views over the stunning Wye Valley. Plenty of beautiful walks are on the doorstep and there is a village pub, shop, castle and playground less than 10 minutes walk from the property. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Expect relaxed simple decor and a comfy bed after great walks in the forest.

Squirrel Lodge - Hot Tub!

Squirrel Lodge is a pine scented slice of heaven in the Forest of Dean. Well equipped and situated overlooking a meadow and has direct walks into the forest and onto the Bream Heritage Walk. Also an absolute haven for fun seekers with one of the UK’s best cycle trails and downhill mountain bike course, along with abseiling, caving and canoeing. For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.

Lambsquay House - Apartment Two

Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase.

Rose Cottage, dog friendly, countryside location

Rose Cottage forms part of the old stable block of the Clanna Country Estate dating back to the 1850's and as such, they combine rustic character with modern comfort. The cottage is both family and doggy friendly. The cottage provides an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty and history of the area while offering a warm and welcoming place to return to after a day of adventure. Guests have shared access to our onsite games room, which includes Pool, darts, ping pong and so much more.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pub, The Ostrich Inn and the local town. We are close to all amenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The Old Cider Mill is a beautifully converted old cider barn set in the wonderfully peaceful monmouthshire countryside. The cottage is a fabulous romantic and tranquil retreat set in one acre of meadow and adjoining spinney. Perfectly situated to explore all the wye valley, and nearby forest of dean, has to offer. We are situated less than a mile away from the village of St Briavels. We are fairly rural, so what 3 words is a great way to find us, they are: endlessly.balance.drummers Saint Briavels is a vibrant little village in the Forest of Dean, on the edge of the beautiful Wye Valley. It has an inn, a deli, a church and a castle. A monthly farmers' market is held in the village on the first Saturday morning of every month, where you can buy a whole range of local produce.
