Enjoy early morning kayaking in the bay ,relax on the stoep with a good book in the afternoon. Perfect for 4 adults and 3/4 kids(2 private bedrooms) Beach is 40 meters from house. Children can swim/kayak,catch fish off the rocks. The cottage is small and cosy, its a simple place, the stoep is large but open, so nights are cool. WOOD - fired hot tub . Late check -out by arrangement 1 1/2 hrs from Cape Town A place to make memories! Lovely day trips around , or else just laze the day away

The Tin Shack

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms, each with a shower, basin, and compost toilet. The spacious open plan kitchen/living area has a cast-iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. The spacious deck has a Weber BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

With its white washed walls, blue finishes and seconds from the endless stretches of white sandy beaches with azure waters, mysterious sunrises, and vivid sunsets . La Mer offers guests the opportunity to stay right on the beach, close to restaurants. This ideally situated self-catering unit offers the best views of the ocean, the beach and breathtaking sunsets. In case of a power failure, an inverter and back up batteries are installed and we will do our best to ensure that the lights, TV and Wi-Fi are working. This is a developing town and building activity is taking place in the area. Unfortunately no children or pets.
