The Market Street House was built in 1860 by Lambert Merklin and his wife. Lamberts was a German baker and confectioner who operated a bakery just a few blocks away from here on Fifth Street. Whether you are traveling solo or as part of a group, the Purple Awning House's spacious bedrooms, comfortable couch and a large inflatable bed (if needed) ensures everyone will have a good night's rest. * Note that this is a main floor apartment with another apartment upstairs. They have separate entrances and there is no shared space or ventilation.
