Joyful Yurt with View of South Santiam River

Drink in the panoramic view of the South Santiam River in our funky yurt! The yurt is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, futon, rocking chair, mini dinette, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Plates, glasses, silverware, bedding, and towels provided. Yurt is located near the main house, yet a privacy courtyard had been created for additional solitude. Hot showers and flushing toilets are in a separate, unheated building about a 3 minute walk away. Glamping at its finest!

Entire Studio -Country setting, quiet and private

Studio has own entrance and is separate from the main house. Studio has its own private bathroom with a shower, and laundry facilities, electric heat in the winter. Air conditioning only in the sleeping area of the bnb in the summer. There is a food prep area with a large sink. There is no oven but several small appliances available for meal prep.Studio sits on 6 acres with nearby hiking trails or towns. Would be nice for the traveling contractor who needs a room for their current local job.

And while unsupervised schmoozing with the horses isn't allowed, if you'd like we'll be glad to introduce you to some of the herd. Located near Hwy 22 in Mill City (30 miles from I-5 & Salem) The cabin was the original home to the Kelle Family in 1942. Updated in 2022. It comfortably fits 2 adults & 1 child. Sofa bed is NOT recommended for adults. Private, the whole place is yours! No shared walls; our home is behind the cabin. Great for travellers, kayakers, and campers. Walking distance to parks, river, store, bar & grill. RV parking on request. EV charging available with advance arrangements only.

Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Relax on the deck built into the trees, and sleep peacefully in the loft bed, as you soak in the nature around you. The cute out house is just down the path and the cedar hot tub/ outdoor shower is next to the garden.

The Cottage is located on our 5 acre farm, Rising Star farm. We have dairy goats, chickens and cats. Our house is on the property. Up to 4 guests allowed but best suited for 2 adults and 2 children. Extra $10 per child per night. The Cottage has plenty of parking, a covered patio and a fenced yard with banty chickens. We take great care with our cleaning regimen.
