The room has an exterior entrance and includes access to a shared shower and hassle-free composting toilet in common space just outside your door. The Mercantile is a beautiful strawbale building with solar power, filtered rain water, high speed wifi, as well as air conditioning and fireplace in public spaces. Breakfast can be included for a small fee if arranged in advance.

Cheapest and quaintest way to visit Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. Adjacent to a pond and greenspace. Full-sized bed with memory foam mattress with CertiPUR-US certified foams. No internet, so enjoy a digital sabbath. Quiet area. Ladder access to second floor, so not suitable for those with limited mobility. Coffee and tea provided. Internet available elsewhere in the village. Humanure human waste compost system a short walk down a path. All power is renewable energy.

The Gnome Dome

The Gnome Dome is located at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, an intentional community of about 50 people focusing on environmentally friendly living. About the Dome: • Tiny. Space to think, sleep, be. • Quaint. Built into a prairie hillock, could just as well be called the hobbit hole! • Comfortable. Wired. Resilient to heat and cold. • Customized.
