The hut has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful break from your busy life including a log burner for cosy evenings. Outside there is exclusive access to a wooded area for outdoor eating, relaxing to the sound of the river and wildlife watching. Fly fishing is available from our land free of charge.

Under the stars in a Dark Sky Area looking out onto the forest, the Shepherd's Hut has a really comfortable king sized bed, kitchen, bathroom and wood burning stove. The private garden is fully fenced with a little gate that leads down to the stream where you can listen to the water tumbling down the many little waterfalls or watch the sun rise behind the pines from your steps. The Hut also has an enclosed wooden deck with a table and chairs, a bench seat and an extendable awning.

Built from scratch by none other than the owners themselves, the dog-friendly Tweedenburn Shepherd's Hut is more than just a labour of love; it’s also a completely off-grid hut powered by solar panels and in an excellent spot for exploring the Scottish Borders. When you’re ready for a kip, there’s a comfortable double bed for two inside the hut. Complete with a woodburning stove. Firepit/ barbecue and gas hob provided in the outdoor kitchen. All utensils provided.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.

The Fold is a unique, hand-crafted shepherds hut situated on the site of a 200 year old sheepfold. Nestled at the top of a small Christmas tree farm in the rolling hills of Dumfries and Galloway, this beautifully styled retreat offers a peaceful, cosy space to relax and switch off from the world. Take a stroll through the wild meadows down to the working flower farm or unwind on the veranda and take in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Shepherd's Hut - "Birch" Ideal for couples

"Birch" is ideal for couples, located in a quiet rural location on our farm but only 10 minutes from Berwick-Upon-Tweed. The hut comes with a comfy double bed, heating, dining area and kitchen with an induction hob for cooking there are also tea/coffee making facilities. There are shared toilet and shower facilties on site. Outside the hut there is an area for sitting out, so you can watch the sun go down. We also have amazing dark skies too!
