The Stables - Tunstead Cottages Enjoy the peace of the Norfolk countryside. Our rural, dog friendly cottage on the outskirts of Tunstead. Close to the Norfolk Broads and the coast, yet only 30 minutes from the city of Norwich. The Stables is on an old farm on the outskirts of Tunstead village. In a peaceful part of rural Norfolk with views of the big Norfolk skies, farmland and fruit fields. Cottages have a pool but its on private hire and booking is separate also has a shared games room.

Self contained, dog friendly, studio with own entrance & garden in a converted Cartshed. There is a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, king size bed from which you can star gaze. Visit the famous “Roy’s” and Bewilderwood (3 min) or enjoy a drink watching the boat go by. The apartment offers ground floor, single level facilities including low profile shower. A king size bed and 2x single sofa beds + travel cot. Just minutes walk to bus and trains for easy access to the whole of Norfolk.

Crossing Retreat is a timber clad modern barn which has been renovated to give guests a taste of the countryside with a quirky twist. The large bi-folding doors along one side of the Retreat allow guests to open up their living space to the outdoors, perfect for those warm evenings. In the cooler months it provides a great source of light, enabling guests to take in the surrounding fields which provide lovely views. The projector and pool table are super additions to keep you entertained.

It is in an excellent position for walking or cycling with direct access to a network of footpaths and the popular long distance footpath of Weavers Way.
