Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation, in the heart of the birthplace of Aquilino Ribeiro, Carregal in the municipality of Sernancelhe. Go hiking, visit Mrs. da Lapa, and take a dip in Albufeira do Vilar, you can also dedicate yourself to canoeing, padlle, mountain biking, or simply stroll through the beautiful and leafy groves of the famous martaínha chestnut that is the image of Terra da Castanha.

It is a renovated stone house located above the village fountain, popular in the surrounding area for its pure water. Novelães is a very quiet village just 5 km from the foot of Serra da Estrela between Gouveia and Seia. The house has a large space with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy silence and peace, walk through the woods and visit the surrounding natural attractions.

Our cottages are designed to welcome those who seek to savour nature in its most authentic form: where the melody of silence is gently broken by birdsong, the soft murmur of cascading waters, and the rustic rhythm of an old mill - lulling you into slumber and inspiring dreams of a hidden paradise called Recião. We offer breakfast and dinner as additional services, both subject to availability.

Relax Container

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).
