This 12x12 house is off grid with a cute outhouse nestled in the timber behind the wildlife rescue. Relax and unplug for the weekend and know 100% of the fee goes to the animal rescue. We bring your supplies up via Gator as you hike the trail up. PLEASE NOTE: NO RUNNING WATER/SHOWERS

If you’re coming for the car show in July we are just 1 block from where the car display starts. Sycamore Steam Show is approximately 7miles/15 minutes. City park is 1 block from apartment.

Tucked out of the way of busy roads or city life but only a short drive to all the amenities of civilization. Keep an eye out for deer, ducks, beavers, hawks and other scenic wildlife out the back window/patio. There’s even a couple bald eagles that live nearby. We are located near the Lowes Distribution Center, the Chicago-Rockford International Airport, about 20-minute drive to the Byron Plant, and about 6-to-8-minute drive to downtown Rockford, Discovery Center, Coronado Theatre, BMO Center, and about 12 minutes away from Swedish American Hospital.
