The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Blackthorn Hideaway is our luxury, bespoke Shepherd's Hut. It has open field views and is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, pubs, restaurants, famous attractions, and is only 20 minutes from the Peak District National Park. The Hideaway is the perfect location for a romantic break with your small dog (additional charge). Outside is a private, decked area with chairs, table, luxury outdoor slipper bath and fire pit - a perfect place to relax, unwind, and cosy up under the stars.

This is our home, so it’s lived in but well loved and looked after.
