Or just relax on a hammock and enjoy the night-time sounds. Solo, couples, or families are welcomed along with pets on a leash. Go fishing in our small pond, or hang out in the garden. This is a working family farm with goats, chickens, lambs, cows, horses, bees, and many more farm animals. Learn to take care of baby chicks or milk a cow.

We use only Natural & Organic cleaning and Laundry detergents. All bedding and linens are natural fibre and 100% cotton. Oscillating fan for the warmer temperatures. An Indoor approved Buddy propane space heater is provided in cooler weather. (We are pet free at this time because of the compact space.)

Old Rag and White Oak Canyon are minutes away as are wineries, breweries, orchards and much more. Critters big and small, we have them all! Please know we are in a remote area and wild animals and insects are part of nature and come with the camping experience!

“The Black Bear Tent” is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Shenandoah River. The “BB Tent” is just steps to the river, stocked pond, and pavilion. You can enjoy all the outdoors but within minutes to town.
