Hansel Cottage- a cosy cottage in quiet location

Hansel: a gift. This charming Victorian cottage, built around 1860 by a local merchant, offers very comfortable accommodation in a quiet, central location in Lerwick. Situated in a secluded lane, the cottage provides a snug hideaway. We provide a welcome pack of local produce, locally made toileteries and a small library of books, and a basket of wood and peat for the stove. Parking is available nearby. There is a private south-west facing garden with shed. Garden furniture and BBQ included.

Ideal retreat for annual Lerwick Up Helly Aa, Shetland Folk Festival, Shetland Wool Week and many local cultural, nature and music events.

Lodberries: (Old Norse, hladberg, a landing rock) were used as waterfront stores. A short walk from the town centre and harbour. Historic setting & unique layout, built into the sea. This modern cosy one bedroom flat is set in the heart of Lerwick within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the town centre. A completely renovated flat with all modern facilities. Great for couples, business travellers and tourists. The property has a spacious living room with smart 65” TV and WIFI. The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons. There is a double bed in the bedroom with SIMBA mattress. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer available for guest to use.

East-Gate Selfcatering

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

Traditional crofter's cottage in peaceful Unst

A traditional Shetland Crofter's cottage in Baliasta, Unst, Shetland. Close by to the Loch of Cliff, near to the local shops and leisure centre. We absolutely love our little spot and enjoy opening it up to our many well-travelled guests. The cottage is very cosy, has a wood burning stove, and a good-sized garden. Please be aware though, that it is a very old house and as such has some rustic quirks. While we are happy to accommodate children please be aware all beds are doubles.

There's a well equipped kitchen with a pully for drying clothes and also a good size living room. Mavine Cottage is a great base from which to explore all Shetland has to offer.

Small pets are welcome, as long as they are house trained, and you tidy up after them.
