Located down a very bumpy track, it’s a 2 min walk straight to the prom and beach and a flat easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the town where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, a cinema, a bowling alley and the legendary Winter Gardens venue. A 10 minute drive and you're on the M6, it couldn't be easier

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Aughton is a scenic village situated on the banks of the lune valley leading up to the market Town on Kirby Lonsdale. Walks from the village allow you to saunter along the banks of the river lune or through the picturesque Burton and Lawson woods belonging to the woodlands trust often known as Aughton woods. Aughton also has an beautiful old village church going back to 1864 and a recreation hall and children's play area.

Farmhouse Lodge

Delightful, private and tranquil lodge located at the bottom of the large private Farmhouse garden. Fabulous views and walking distance to local pubs. It is a 50 metre walk from the parking area to the Lodge. There is free Wifi in the Lodge and good mobile signal. This place is a retreat for you to truly unwind, relax & get away from it all, or use as a base for exploring the local area and the Lake District. Unfortunately it is not suitable for children or infants.

Luxury Loft at Claughton Hall

The Luxury Loft is situated within the West Wing of the Stunning and Imposing Claughton Hall. We hope to provide guests with a comfortable yet memorable home from home experience. The Loft offers spectacular views over the Lune Valley from an elevated hilltop position. Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and luxurious getaway. The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is situated a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the homes private driveway.
