This design award winning detached property is surrounded by grounds which include a slope which may not be suitable for very young children. With stunning sea views, The Outlook is built into the hillside, access is via steps down from the road (or can be accessed via a steep path). Minutes from the Valley Gardens, on the beach path, close to the town centre; this is a beautiful spot. The Outlook sadly doesn’t lend itself well to those with mobility issues or very young children. Dog friendly.

Nestled on the edge of the Cleveland Way is where you'll find Field View just a short drive to the coastal towns of Saltburn-By-The-Sea and Whitby or the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors with places like Goathland where Heartbeat was filmed, Staithes to name but a few. We are dog friendly. There is a local pub called the Miners Arms just around the corner, or if you prefer the high street is only a short drive where you'll find pubs and cafes, some are also dog friendly so worth checking out.

Castleton is lucky to have two great pubs The Downe Arms with fabulous food and atmosphere right across the road and The Eskdale which serves lovely ‘fine dining food’ but also lovely just for a drink. The Cleveland Way walking route runs through the town and is just 80 steps from our front door. You can follow this walking route through the woods to Saltburn which takes around 40 mins. Alternatively Saltburn is a short 5 min drive away or can be accessed by bus. In addition to the nearby coast, there are fabulous countryside walks on the doorstep. Whitby is half hr drive.
