Entering our wonderful front lakeside cottage you'll first be struck by it's beautiful surrounding nature. Not far from Reykjavik, but also far enough that you see more of the natural beauty of Iceland. The lake is crystal clear and in this exact spot of the lake the mountains frequently block the wind which turns the lake mirror-smooth which is amazing to see especially with the sunset and northern lights, so you can enjoy the experience even further we include a paddleboard in the booking

You are invited to stay at Birkiholt cottage, a small family owned cosy cabin, only 45 min drive from RVK. One bedroom and a loft where two persons can sleep ( steep stairs up) safely and relatively private. Mattresses on the loft floor. Small living room with sleeping sofa (for two) ,sofa table, small kitchenette with dishwasher and a cosy bath with shower, foldable kitchen table for 4, TV, wifi . Outside hot tub, hot and cold water. Perfect place for visiting the west coast of Iceland.

You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

Our 78 square meter 1 bedroom cottage is located 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik. The cottage is luxurious and has an outdoor natural water hot tub from where you can enjoy the Northern Lights or the fantastic sunset. The living area and the balcony have a spectacular view overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a great base for day tours in the south or west of Iceland. Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Snæfells glacier are all within 1-2 hours’ drive.

Hóll Guesthouse

Come for a stay at a farm in the South-west part of Iceland. Enjoy the nature on a conventional Icelandic farm. During winter you might see the northern lights and experience the constant day during summer. Dairy cows, sheep and horses roam around on the farm in the summer but stay inside during winter. Additionally, a total of 4 dogs live, work and play on the farm. This is a working farm so don't be alarmed by tractors and all sorts of farm noise and smells.

There is electric heating, a gas stove and outdoor cooking area. The cottage is close to Krauma geothermal bath and the town of Borgarnes where you can go to stores, museum and restaurants.
