The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

Beautifully converted, airy hideaway near Whitby

Sleights is a gem of a village on the outskirts of Whitby and at the foothills of the Moors. You will stay in a beautiful airy converted self contained studio which has its own entrance and is part of a large Victorian Villa (there are steps leading down into the garden - may not be suitable for those with limited mobility). Guests will enjoy the privacy of the Hideaway with their own outside area. They can relax on the luxury Simba mattress that promises a good nights rest after a busy day.

The Highlander

Sandsend Beach is only four miles away and Runswick Bay three which offer some great local dining treats. Whitby is the local town approx a fifteen minutes drive. The Studio is nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire moors, surrounded by rolling hills and lush woodlands. This cosy apartment is fully equipped with its own double bedroom, living area, kitchenette, and private outdoor decked patio. Sleights is approximately 3 miles from the quaint seaside town of Whitby, renowned for the gothic novel ‘Dracula’, its stunning Norman Abbey, and delicious fish and chips. This countryside haven is the perfect escape from the rush and stress of city life.

Summerfield Bungalow

Summerfield bungalow is located just outside the village of Hawsker, midway between Whitby & Robin Hood’s bay. The bungalow is private, detached, not overlooked & is spacious, bright with stunning views from every window. From the front you can see Whitby Abbey and harbour, from the side there’s a lovely view of All Saints church approx 20 metres away & from the rear there are uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside. The gardens extend to around a third of an acre and are secure.

Birch House Farm

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

The cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the area, and is well connected by road, bus and rail.
