Rumi's Field is a modern ecological timber building with a sedum roof, solar panels and an air source heat pump combined with underfloor heating. Although secluded it has modern 21st century communications with strong wifi and 42 inch TV & sound bar, so guests can stream movies or play their chosen music through bluetooth. The house sleeps 6 in three double rooms, two rooms can also be twin bedded. There is also a small double futon in the living room, for 1 or 2 We are 3 miles from Southwold

Hedge Lodge

Hedge Lodge is a spacious, self-catering holiday cottage sleeping up to five people. It enjoys beautiful views across fields of horses and backs onto a natural pond bursting with wildlife. The cottage boasts a large open plan kitchen/dining and sitting area with doors opening to a private courtyard The first floor has a quiet area for reading, or play area. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Well behaved animals are welcome on the ground floor only and WIFI, bed linen and towels are included.

The Old Lamp Room. Self contained annexe

The Old Lamp Room used to store the lamps for the lighthouse until it became automatic. It is now an annexe to the old Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage, which is our family home. Guests have their own front door and are free to use the small front courtyard garden which has a bistro table and chairs. Situated up a small path, behind the lighthouse and moments from the beach. The high street with its shops, restaurants and pubs is a 5 minute stroll away. An ideal cosy bolt hole.

Our accommodation is self-contained; a living space with two sets of French doors giving views over fields stretching for miles including a wood burner, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven and hob. Our Annex proves very popular with travellers seeking sparkling clean, modern details with all the necessary touches to make a comfortable bolt hole holiday, ten minutes walk from Southwold’s beaches and high street. We can accommodate 2 adults in the main bedroom and a further two guests in the living space, in two sofa beds (one small double and one single). A high chair/travel cot can be provided.
