Carnegie Library, built in 1906 and continued as a library up until 1970s. This apartment was the reading room. Beautiful original large arched windows bring natural light to the place. Separate bathroom with shower etc. Please note you are coming to an ex mining village so while Swinton it's self is not a holiday area , it is central to many interesting places around.

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
