Almost a Beach House is mountain bike and family friendly, close to mountain bike trails at Derby, Bay of Fires and St Helens bike park. An updated and recently refurbished two storey version of a traditional Tasmanian beach "shack", Almost a Beach House comfortably sleeps 5, but can accommodate 7 with three bedrooms, single bathroom/WC downstairs, as well as a comfy queen sofa bed upstairs, plus plenty of sitting space with dining area, new kitchen, large lounge and an extra reading space.

Our family have been enjoying holidays at the shack for over thirty years. Enjoy spacious living areas, stylish decor, water views and our private, bird-filled native gardens. A wonderful barn conversion that has everything you need for an enjoyable experience. Located 6KM from St Helens. A private rear paved deck looking out at the bush. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics to cook home style meals. Beds - queen, 3 king singles and 1 single. You can see a variety of farm animals as well as wild parrots and wallabies that feed near the barn. The barn is located to the rear of OUR HOUSE. WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY AND AIDES IN THE BATHROOM.
