Explore the West Country all year round with access to hiking/biking and horse trails. Quadding and snowmobiling in the backcountry as well as seasonal hunting and fishing. For some rest and relaxation, enjoy the deck by the flower garden, sit in front of the wood burning stove or by the firepit on those starry nights.

This cabin is titled The Getaway as it can serve as a place where you can truly escape a busy life to truly take a break. Only 1/2 a block from the beach and about one kilometer from the busiest hub of Lakeshore Drive, you can park your car in the driveway, and explore on foot. Stay busy with board and lawn games, books, a fire pit, and a hot tub and enjoying the beautiful garden are just a few things to do without leaving The Getaway. Entire cabin steps from a quiet beach, in the peaceful cabin area of Sylvan Lake. Take the boardwalk to our downtown restaurants, children's parks, and local shops! Use our paddle boards and beach gear to experience the lake. Enjoy our firepit, front and back decks, and private enclosed backyard. Parking provided conveniently out front. From our location you can walk anywhere and save the parking fees. Our cozy cabin is equipped with all the necessities you need for a wonderful stay at the lake!

The historic Rosebud Cafe

Natural beauty surrounds this historic getaway. The sunrises from here are unrivalled along with stunning expansive views. The building has evolved from a teacherage to a grain bin to a Cafe & now the tiny guesthouse you see. Rustic in nature with separate outdoor composting toilet (see pics for throne room interior!) & outdoor shower (summer only). Numerous walking trails on the 160acres double for XC skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Property is shared with a cabin, campsites and a treehouse.

There is a $25 pet cleaning fee please add your pet to the reservation when booking.
