The cottage is recently renovated and well equipped. Perfectly located to explore South Iceland. A short drive of around 40 minutes from your Seaside cottage will bring you to the major tourist attractions in South Iceland. At the end of the day, return to this welcoming Seaside cottage and relax.

Strýta Guesthouse

The cottage is on a quiet and beautiful place. The terrace faces south and in calm nice weather it is great to have a nice evening with barbeque grill or lying in the hot tub watching the stars or at winter time watching the amazing northern lights. Great hiking paths are in the area and lots of Icelandic horse realated activities are all around.We are located between Hveragerði and Selfoss (5km from Hveragerði and 10km from Selfoss). There you can find great swimming pools and all necessities.

Apartment inside a stable

Spacious (89 m2) apartment located inside a horse stable of 36 horses. There is a lot of horses on the property, Hólaborg is a breeding farm. We have our own lake at the property, we really recommend you to take a walk down there to observe the horses and the unique bird life. The farm is located 73 km from Reykjavík, our location is perfect for exploring the south of Iceland and the Golden Circle as well as spotting the northern lights. The beautiful light house &the beach is only 1 km away.

Bakki Apt - New modern 1-bedroom seaside apartment

Guest apartment with all-new construction, bright and modern Scandinavian design. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with rain shower, bedroom with large double bed (180x200cm) or two single beds upon request. In the living area is a dining area for 4 and a sofa, which is easily changed to a double bed (140x200cm). Just steps from the sea and the seaside path running the length of the old fishing village of Eyrarbakki.

The apartment is in the middle of Selfoss, close to the swimming pool, gym, shops, restaurants and the Old Dairy Selfoss. Here you can relax and enjoy some rest during your vacation. It’s a great stopover on your way to or from Keflavik airport if you’re sightseeing the south coast of Iceland. Sólvangur

Cozy little private cottage for 3-4 people. With one single bed and bunk bed (lower is 120x200 cm, upper is 90x200). Situated at Sólvangur Icelandic Horse Center. The house has a kitchen, bathroom w/ shower & toilet and free wifi. The farm offers stable visits, children rides and lessons which all need to be pre-booked. Sólvangur is good place to stay, easy to walk around, go to the beach, relax inside and outside, beautiful view, guests can see horses and animals outside.

Gamla Húsið - The Old Farm-House

Gamla húsið is in Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga horse-farm, located in the south of Iceland, 35km -from Reykjavík in Ölfus and 3min. drive off Route 1. Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south. Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga is a horse farm, on the banks of the salmon-rich Ölfusá river surrounded by beautiful landscape.

The Red Brick house

Small and cozy studio apartment, about 30 square meters, in a quiet residential area. It has its own entrance, separate from the owners’. The bed is 1.6 x 2 meters. You can park right next to the door. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside in the private backyard. Important places are close by: the swimming pool, bakery, and discount store are 900 meters away, main road 1 is 800 meters away and the city center is 1.2 kilometers away.

The Little House

The house is 25 square meters. standing absolutely alone on a one hectares plot of land. Small football field, trampoline and balcony. No one will disturb you, unless maybe sounds from the birds all around or the horses on next plot. The house is cozy and warm. Keep in mind that the main bed is 120cm wide.
