To celebrate this area's incredible legacy of craft, we’ve collaborated with some of the most talented makers in the region. Staying at the Nook you’ll have an experience unheard of in the modern era -- almost everything you touch or interact with was woven, shaped or whittled by hand. *Please note that outdoor bathhouse may not be available during winter months due to low temperatures.

The Understory: Cabin with Outdoor Tub and Sauna

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. The comfortable living space includes a rain shower, king sized bed in a lofted sleeping area, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is a large deck with a table and chairs, a luxurious soaking bathtub, and a patio equipped with a fire pit and propane grill.

Cozy Private Studio-between Asheville & Black Mtn.

Buckeye Studio is nestled in the country between Asheville and Black Mountain. 800 sf Studio on a 2 acre lot with queen bed and sleeper sofa. Fully equipped kitchenette with mini fridge. Private outside seating on porch with beautiful sunset and mountains. You might hear in the distance some farm animals - roosters and donkeys. The Biltmore Estate and Blue Ridge Parkway are a short distance away. Come enjoy hiking, dining, local breweries and make memories. Parking for 2 cars.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!

This unique place has a style all its own. Welcome to the StAy FrAme, a brand new home that is centrally located between Asheville and Black Mountain! Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a full kitchen. Catch the sunset from the hot tub or relax in the barrel sauna after a long hike! Enjoy cool mountain evenings in front of the gas fireplace or the solo stove on the patio! There is also a fenced yard for your furry friends-dogs only please ($75 pet fee)

Delightful 1 bedroom tiny home near Asheville

Our newly built one-bedroom tiny home is the perfect mountain getaway with southern charm. We are located in the valley. Just minutes from downtown Asheville & Black Mountain. With one bedroom & one bathroom, there is space to accommodate 2 adults comfortably. The living space displays a comfortable queen size bed and kitchenette. The outdoor amenities include a large deck offering lounge chairs and gas grill. There is even a creek with a fire pit!

Quiet Cottage Retreat

Adorable cozy cottage located in quiet Grovemont neighborhood (15 minutes from Asheville, 6 minutes to Black Mountain). This is a totally separate dwelling - no contact with hosts necessary to access cottage, keyless entry, and privacy. Enjoy a quiet retreat alone or with loved one. Hike up Rhododendron Ridge Trail or cozy up by the wood stove with a book. Start a campfire or listen to the sounds of Bee Tree Creek in the hammock. Nightlife, food, coffee and breweries in Asheville or Black Mountain are 15 minutes away. It's an hour to Great Smokey Mountains National Park!

Spring Mountain House

Spring mountain house is a modern micro cabin perched above the creek in a lush mountain forest. Scandinavian inspired, this cabin was designed and built by the hosts using site-harvested lumber and custom hand-crafted wood and metalwork features. The cabin lays on a south-facing mountain covered in rhododendron forest with the view and sounds of the creek below.
