Fairlight Maison

Beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you'd need for a home away from home stay. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. Separate living room with a cosy fireplace and dinning room for 6 people. A charming study with a small daybed, a desk and printer. Well equipped kitchen good enough for any chefs. Sunny balcony off the master bedroom to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. A plunge pool with sunbed in the rear courtyard garden for soaking up the sun or alfresco entertaining & relaxation. We provide luxurious bedding linen, Egyptian Cotton bath towels, high end bathroom amenities including a hairdryer. Unfortunately we do not provide beach towels and we don't have a BBQ. There is a Nespresso Coffee machine in the kitchen and we provide a few coffee pods to get you started but you will have to purchase the additional pods at our local supermarket, Coles. Instant coffee and a small selection of tea are there for you to use of course. Guests will have access to the entire house by themselves. Guests will have full privacy. The house is conveniently located within a 10-20 minute walk of the famous Manly Beach precinct, home to a multitude of trendy cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. In addition, there's easy access to outdoor activities, such as bushwalking and surfing. If you don't want to do the 10-20mins walk to Manly, there is a local free bus shuttle (Hop Skip & Jump Bus) that takes you to directly to Manly Beach and Manly ferry. The bus stops right across the street in front of the house and comes around every 30mins. To go into the city there is also a public bus stop just around the corner but we suggest you take the scenic ferry ride across the Harbour into Sydney and you'll be in the heart of Sydney's tourist attractions. If you have a car you can park on the street in front of the house. There is always plenty of parking available. Fairlight La Maison is a terrace house on 3 levels so there are steep narrow stairs which might not be suitable for young children not used to stairs and elderly people. We have a gas fireplace. There is a Nespresso machine but only a sample of pods will be provided to get you started. If you would like use the Nespresso Coffee machine then you will need to buy extra coffee pods at the local supermarket. We don't have a BBQ. You will also need to bring your own beach towels as we do not provide beach towels at the house. We don't own a cat but our neighbours do. Nero is the black cat and Oscar is the grey marble cat. They are super friendly cats and often wander into the house if the doors and windows are left open. If you are allergic to cats we suggest you don't allow them in the house.

Walk to the Beach from a Warm, Family-Friendly Cottage

Beautifully styled and well-appointed, this single storey beach home offers casual comfort and spacious living areas, perfect for family groups seeking a relaxed beachside holiday. A beautifully manicured and fully enclosed rear garden is ideal for children. The garden studio is complete with an ensuite, a perfect 4th bedroom if 8 guests are staying or extra living area if preferred. You will have the entire property including the studio for yourselves. There is a separate side entrance for the studio. The back of the house opens entirely through bifold doors giving flow through to the deck and rear yard. You will be greeted on arrival at the property. As hosts we will be available via phone or email throughout your stay. The home is in Newport Beach, a town known for its surfing breaks and beautiful scenery. Newport Village’s boutiques, markets, and restaurants are a stroll away, as is the beach. Palm Beach, or Summer Bay as it's known on "Home and Away", is 15 minutes further north by car. If night life or a faster pace is more your style then Manly is less than half an hour by car, travelling South. From here the Manly ferry can take you across Sydney Harbour to the CBD for a day of sightseeing. The L90 bus is a 5 minute walk away on Barrenjoey Road and makes regular trips to and from the city. The spacious formal dining and living areas have recently been extensively renovated and flow effortlessly to a timber deck and alfresco dining and BBQ area. The stunning open plan kitchen is brand new and boasts Miele and Smeg appliances, stone benches and a large breakfast bar, perfect for informal dining. The plasma in the main living area is equipped with Foxtel and a DVD player. A 2nd living area (with DVD player only) at the other end of the home gives everyone their own space to relax and unwind.

Walk to the Beach from a Leafy Paradise in Mosman

This modern 75sqm self contained apartment is part of a luxury home with its own private entrance. It has one bedroom with built in wardrobe and desk. The Living area is combined living dining and kitchenette leading to a large outside deck. Guests have a separate private access with no shared areas with direct access to Chinamans Beach & Rosherville Reserve from the outside deck. Should you wish, there is no need to interact with the residents of the house, the apartment is your space and is totally private. The house is steps away from a beach in Sydney’s Middle Harbor and near Rosherville Reserve, a quiet park with picnic areas. Surrounded by national parks and great walking tracks, Mosman offers beautiful scenery and views of Sydney Harbor. Located 5min drive to Mosman cafes and shops or a 10min leisurely stroll to Balmoral Beach. Just a short walk to the bus stop for a 20min bus into Sydney CBD or 20mins bus to Manly Beach. If walking is not your thing, Mosman Council has a free courtesy bus available and you can find the timetable at http://mosmanrider.net/ The kitchenette comes equipped with a fridge, microwave / oven, induction hot plate, toaster, jug and necessities. On the outside deck there is an electric barbecue. If you require an additional bedroom this can be arranged .There is an additional guest room on the same level across the courtyard. You'll have one parking spaces to use in the secure garage beneath the apartment building. The car parking space is smallish and suited to a small or mid size car. Ask the parking garage is quite tight which makes a large car difficult to park.
